Ford Fiesta ST - expected at Frankfurt
There was a time when it seemed likely Ford would abandon all plans for a hot Fiesta. They seemed convinced that a Fiesta ST would be anathema in our seemingly eco-obsessed times, but fortunately they’ve had a change of heart. We reported back in September 2010 – after we had spy shots of what appeared to be the new Fiesta ST – that Ford were planning to cash-in on their WRC Fiest profile to finally bring us a Fiesta with a bit more get-up-and-go than the Zetec S could manage.
Jaguar C-X16 - the new Jaguar XE
We’ve been running stories on Jaguar’s spiritual successor to the E-Type – the Jaguar XE – for what seems like an eternity. Now, finally, the reality starts to catch up with the expectation with the release of a single sketch of the Jaguar C-X16 ‘production concept’ car. The C-X16 Production Car is, according to Jaguar, a first look at the production concept which will make its global debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Cadillac CTS-V coming in RHD
The Cadillac CTS-V – we assume in Coupe, Saloon and Estate versions – is being prepared for launch in the UK in right hand drive. One of the good things to come out of General Motors’ financial woes of a few years ago – apart from producing smaller world cars – has been the arrival of the Cadillac CTS-V. The Cadillac CTS-V may not be the biggest seller Cadillac are ever going to produce, but as a halo car to demonstrate just how good Cadillac can be, it’s pretty much unbeatable.
